Local Missions

Our approach to Local Missions

Our church serves in local, national and global mission work as part of Nazarene Missions International (NMI). NMI is the local church-based global mobilization and promotional arm of missions for the Church of the Nazarene. The purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in missions through the four areas of: praying, educating, giving, and discipling.

Local Service opportunities

Serving locally can be a rewarding opportunity for individuals and families that have limited time and resources. We are interested in seeking out these opportunities to involve more people who desire to serve. The types of local mission projects we have supported recently include; giving to Angel Tree, donating clothes to foster children, doing home repair and yard maintenance work, and preparing disaster response kits for families impacted by natural disasters.

If you are interested in serving locally, like at the 2024 Harper Church project, please go to our NextStep section and scroll down to Serve to find out more about how to use your talents and gifts to make an impact in our community.
