Young Adult Ministry

Dear Karcher Church Young Adult Family,

I want to take a moment to update you on something that has been heavy on my heart, namely, the delay in launching our Young Adult ministry events.

This past month has brought an unexpected season of both challenge and tremendous blessing in my life. Our family was overjoyed to welcome a baby through adoption, a true gift from God that has filled our home with new joy. At the same time, I have been dealing with a back injury that has progressed to the point of requiring surgery. Together, these two life-changing circumstances have made it impossible for me to launch our Young Adult events as planned, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I know many of you have been looking forward to getting connected, and I don't take that lightly. Please know that my commitment to this ministry and to each of you has not wavered. In the weeks ahead while I prepare for and recover from surgery, I would love to use this time with purpose — connecting with our young adults one-on-one or in small groups to hear your hearts, learn about your lives, and better understand what you are hoping for from our Young Adult ministry. Your input will help shape something truly meaningful for our community.

Lord willing, within 4–6 weeks of my recovery, we will launch a Summer Young Adult Bible Study that I believe will be well worth the wait.
